本片由查傳誼執導，改編自香港1989年轟動一時的社會案件，也引起香港一股血腥虐待題材影片的熱潮。案中主角黃大衛與兩位女性同時交往，引起兩人爭風吃醋，黃大衛與另一女友以流硫將28歲空姐黃紫居溶掉。幾天後，警方因接到惡臭投訴才揭發此案，本來兩人已入獄服刑，最後女被告卻推翻所有供詞，獨自攬下所有罪名，讓黃大衛當庭釋放。
